The Congressional Gold Medal is the oldest, rarest, and highest US award for service, given to those who have made distinguished and lasting contributions to American history. Our client was a pilot among the DUSTOFF crews, where he volunteered to fly over 1,000 unarmed helicopter combat evac missions in Vietnam, saving over 3,000 wounded. Highlights from a life of travel and elegant taste include a Charles II cabinet circa 1600, Gorham and Wallace sterling silver sets, striking vintage bronzes, original artwork, and French antiques. This lot includes a total of ten decorative figurines. Brands include Royal Doulton, there are several unmarked and several unidentified maker’s marks. The Royal Doulton “Top O’ the Hill” figurine is 7”H. The smallest piece is 2” H x 3” W. 

Condition

Fair for age and use, there are some signs of wear including imperfections to the finish. There are some missing pieces including a finger and a hand. See photo for more condition details.

Item pickup is Wednesday, February 18th from 1 - 6pm in Overland, Park, KS 66224. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
