This ironstone dish set is real English ironstone - it was made in England and is the Lancaster design. Lancaster was first produced by Adams China in 1969, and was to be its last hand-painted porcelain design. Adams based the design of Lancaster on Adams Rose, a pattern the company produced from 1829 to 1861 that featured whimsical red flowers and green leaves on durable ironstone shapes. Included are 7 mugs, 8 flat cups, 7 saucers, 4 square handled cake plates, a lidded sugar jar, three small creamers or pitchers (various sizes), 9 dinner plates, 11 salad plates, 8 coupe cereal bowl, an open sugar bowl, 4 soup/dessert bowl, 8 bread and butter plates, 2 12” oval serving platters and a 9” oval vegetable bowl.

Condition
Good condition for age and use with some signs of wear. There is a chip on the rim of the lidded sugar jar. Cleaning recommended. See photos for more condition details.
