This lot includes a Civil War-era U.S. Cavalry saber, Solingen import, made by Friedrich P. Luneschloss. It features a brass three-branch guard with a wire-wrapped grip. Maker’s mark on the upper blade. Dimensions: 40.75” L
Condition
Fair for age and use with visible signs of wear and patina. The wire on the grip is coming loose. There are several nicks along the blade. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Thursday, September 18th from 1pm - 6pm in Loch Lloyd, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
