A finely painted vertical hanging scroll featuring a profusion of blooming peonies in shades of pink, white, yellow, red, and deep burgundy growing among ornamental scholar's rocks. Several butterflies flutter above the blossoms. The composition is executed in the traditional Chinese bird-and-flower (花鸟画) style, with delicate brushwork and soft mineral pigments on silk. Mounted within a patterned silk brocade border and finished with wooden scroll ends. Dimensions: 71" H x 29" W.

Item pickup is Friday, June 19th from 1pm to 6pm in Overland Park, KS 66213. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time.
