Payments

Chinese provincial silver coin issued by Tientsin (Tianjin) Province during the late Qing Dynasty under the Guangxu Emperor. The obverse features a detailed imperial dragon surrounded by the English legend "TENG-TIEN PROVINCE" and the denomination "7 MACE AND 2 CANDAREENS." The reverse displays Chinese characters identifying the Guangxu era and denomination. This type was struck to international silver-dollar standards and circulated widely in northern China during the early 20th century.
