This lot includes a cast bronze sculpture and a carved wood pedestal. The cast bronze is ‘Blindfolded Cupid and Playmate’ after Auguste Moreau. The pedestal has a warm finish and carved details. Bronze dimensions: 21” high x 12” wide x 12” deep; Wood stand: 38” high x 13.75” wide x 13.75” deep.
Condition
Good used condition. The wood pedestal has some wear, including cracks and minor finish imperfections. The top element is a bit wobbly, there is likely an internal element that needs to be tightened. Some visible wear to the bronze, please see photos for more detail.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Thursday, September 4th from 3pm-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
