This lot includes a pair of wood candlesticks and a third brass metal candlestick. Wood antique style candlesticks: 14.25" high x 5.5" base diameter; A brass candlestick in the Georgian style, marked “Geo. Grove" on the underside. This piece has a baluster stem wand a wide scalloped base with paw feet, characteristic of 18th-century design. Likely produced in the late 19th to early 20th century by George Grove, a known English maker of quality brassware. The base bears multiple “GEO. GROVE" stamps, and the candlestick assembles via an internal threaded rod, consistent with traditional methods of the period. Metal candlestick: 9.25" high x 5.5" base diameter.
Good for age and use. The candle holder on the top of one of the wood candlesticks is a bit loose. Minor signs of wear. See pictures.
