This beautiful quilt started as one of eight completed quilt tops that were donated to ScrapsKC after their maker, a member of the local quilting community, passed away. ScrapsKC's textile volunteers were determined to bind and finish each quilt top in her honor, so her work could live on and be appreciated for years to come.
This quilt features a beautiful floral appliqué in the center surrounded by quilted blocks. It includes rich purple fabrics and other autumn hues. Thank you to Klate Reimer and the folks at the Fabric Chic in Parkville for generously longarming this quilt, and ScrapsKC volunteer David Wood for binding it and bringing it to life.
