This elegant early 20th-century antique oak secretary desk with bookcase is beautifully crafted in richly grained tiger oak. This versatile piece combines function and display with distinctive period styling. It features a tall glass-front bookcase with interior shelving, a drop-front writing desk with storage compartments, twodrawers accented with original cast brass pulls, and a door with storage behind.It features decorative hand-carved scrollwork and applied motifs throughout. Dimensions: 69" H x 42" W x 13.5" D; Desk surface when open: 28" H x 21" W x 27.75" D
Condition
Very good for age and use with some signs of wear. There has been a repair to the top finial in two places.There is staining on the interior shelves, a watermark on the lowershelf behind the glass door, and light staining in one of the drawers. Bottom right door needs a hinge adjustment to stay closed. There are newer screws holding the hinges. No key.See photos for more details.

Item pickup is Wednesday, October 8th from 3pm-7pm in downtown Kansas City, MO (64105). Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time.
