A Gothic Revival style lamp base by Sheffield Silver, originally an oil lamp but now equipt with electrical function. It features etched cranberry glass hurricane and reserve. The original oil lamp white button says ‘Hinks’s Duplex Patent’ which dates it back to Ca. 1890. Dimensions: 41" H x 6" W x 7" D.
Good, visible wear consistent with age and average use. An electrical cord has been installed for easier use, and the light works. No chips or cracks found on the glass, and the silver base looks aged but clean. See photos for more condition details.
