This substantial statement wall clock not only has a rich timeline point in history but is also known for superior mechanical quality. The brass stamp (movement) behind the clock face is marked REMEMBER O.V.R.M. Co. A clock company from northern Austria who worked between 1872-1885. This clock is not yet assembled into working condition but does come with 3 brass weights, clock face with mechanics, and flower hand-embossed medallion pendulum on a wooden arm. The exterior is beautifully carved with architectural details, with top finial attached, and bottom being loose, and also, enhancing its beauty and rarity is a three sided glass panel insert with one on the door. Some smaller sections of wood are not attached, nor found. Dimensions: 17" W x 43" H x 7.5" D
Fair with some visible wear accurate with age and use. Such beautiful craftsmanship makes the descriptor word fair seem cruel. However, the clock is not assembled, not tested, and is missing at least one part of decorative wood. See photos for more condition details.
