An early 20th-century wall barometer manufactured by P.F. Bollenbach Co. with marquetry floral and shell inlay. Features a silvered aneroid barometer dial and a thermometer. Dimensions: 40.5" H x 10.5" W x 1.25" D.

Condition

Fair, noticeable wear; usable, but below average. The empty compartment in the back likely used to house a glass tube mercury mechanism that would make the barometer work. Since that is missing, the barometer is not functional, though the thermometer is working properly. Tarnishing to the barometer face and a chip off of the pediment top on the left side. Item pickup is Friday, September 4th from 2pm to 4pm in Kansas City, MO 64105. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice. Delivery for winning bidders is Tuesday, September 8th between 9am and 5pm.
