An antique late 19th C. Napoleon III French tantalus set or liquor cabinet. The cabinet and set features an ormolu frame with beveled glass panels. The lid has an ‘up and over’ mechanism to reveal the interior. The fitted caddy inside holds four (included are two) crystal decanters and sixteen (included are twelve small plus two slightly larger) cordial glasses, Each piece of the drink set features etched embellishments. Fair, noticeable wear; usable, but below average. The wear is found in the oxidized patina throughout the ormolu frame, and, in one crack on the top glass panel. The set is usable but does not have all drink-ware to fill the slots provided. See photos for more condition details.
