Antique Empire style chest of drawers featuring a rectangular case with a flat top and vertically arranged drawers. The upper section includes smaller drawers above a series of graduated full-width drawers below. Constructed with a warm-toned wood finish showcasing visible grain patterns, and fitted with turned wooden knobs and original-style keyholes. Supported by turned columnar front legs, reflecting classical proportions and design elements characteristic of the Empire style. Dimensions: 51” H x 42” W x 22” D.
Good, visible wear consistent with average use. All drawers are unlocked; however, the top center drawer has a lock with no key and no handle, making it more difficult to open. Some drawer knobs show cracking and small areas of missing wood, not readily noticeable from the front. See photos for more condition details.
