A vintage Alexander McQueen "Elvie" patent red leather handbag, featuring a turn-key front clasp and a push lock closure at the top. Includes authentication papers from the RealReal.
The Elvie design first debuted in McQueen's 2007 Fall/Winter ready-to-wear collection, titled In Memory of Elizabeth Howe, Salem, 1692. McQueen was distantly related to Howe, who was a hanging victim during the Salem Witch Trials. The dramatic inspiration is reflected in the collection's overall darker color palette and in the Elvie bag's bulky maroon leather form. Dimensions: 10 " H x 16" W x 9" D.

Condition
Fair with visible wear. This bag shows slight evidence of repair or repainting of the leather, especially at the creases along the sides. Note additional scuff marks along the bottom. This bag has been authenticated through a third party. See photos for more condition details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Thursday, June 4th from 11am to 7pm in Kansas City, MO 64112. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time.
