Late 19th century hooked dog rug, Pennsylvania, Cotton and wool on burlap ground. Featured in “ All American Dog, Man’s Best Friend in Folk Art” by Dr. Robert Bishop Director, Museum of American Folk Art. Also featured in “Antique Collecting Magazine” March 1978, “Dog World Magazine” December 1977 and loaned to The Dog Museum for exhibition 1992. Framed with glass and linen mat. Rug includes documentation of publications and copy of “The All American Dog”.
