Mark Twain – American Artist Edition

Set of 14 volumes from Twain’s collected works, printed circa 1920s by Harper & Brothers. Bound in decorative yellow cloth with red and gilt spines, these volumes include classics like Pudd’nhead Wilson, Tom Sawyer Abroad, The Prince and the Pauper, and more. Includes color frontispieces and Twain’s embossed portrait on the cover. Some spine wear and chipping present, consistent with age.

 

Harold Bell Wright Novels (6 volumes)

Early printings (c.1919–1922) published by The Book Supply Co., Chicago. Uniformly bound in red cloth with gilt lettering. Titles include The Re-Creation of Brian Kent, The Winning of Barbara Worth, and When a Man’s a Man. Each volume includes a color frontispiece by noted illustrator J. Allen St. John.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall. Some volumes show edge wear, fraying, and discoloration, but bindings remain solid and illustrations are intact. See photos for more details.

Item pickup is Tuesday, August 26th from 2-7pm in Kansas City, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice.
