An antique sugar pail. Identified, dated, and signed "Sugar Pail/ 1851/ Eliza Tyler Morse" to the underside of the lid. Remnant green paint, bail handle. Likely belonged to Eliza Tyler Morse (1825-1893) of Essex, Vermont, who married Wilson Morse in 1851.

Condition
There is a chip to the wood along the edge of the lid. The paint is well worn. Staining to the interior.
